Rates

Day Rates (Coaching, Care, and Supervision)

Full training boarders

• $100/day
• $50/day non showing

Outside Clients

• no care $85/day
• with care:
  • $135/day showing
  • $50/day non showing

All showing clients must pay for care! Unless…you are:

• doing your own entries(sending your own checks to office, keeping track of your USEF paperwork, picking up your number, making stall reservations)
• ordering your own shavings etc.
• packing and transporting all your own equipment: this includes feed/ hay, water buckets, feed tubs, meds, towels, grooming supplies, shampoo, fly spray, cross ties, saddle racks, fans…etc. etc.
• mucking, watering, feeding, grooming, washing your horse on your own! No exceptions.
• doing your own horse laundry!

If you want help from the Ithilien staff you must pay for care!

Otherwise Leah will meet you at your in-gate for coaching and training and leave the rest to you!

Other Expenses and Charges:

Hotel

The cost of Leah’s hotel room is divided among the number of client horses coached/ shown by Leah during the show. Each horse pays the same.

The cost of the staff hotel rooms is divided among the number of horses paying for care at the show. This will include an expense charge for the cost of staff meals.

Admin fee

Each horse/ entry pays a $30 charge. Ithilien does all entries and holds stalls with a company check at each horse show. Ithilien also takes care of closing out each horse’s account in the office (clients must provide Ithilien with open checks for the horse show office, the braider, and the shipper). We also keep all current paperwork such as coggins and health certificates ready to travel with the horses.

Meds

$15/ horse. This covers basic anti-inflammatory care. If your horse requires any special medication or supplement when showing, you will be billed additionally for this.

Miscellaneous supplies

$25/ horse. This covers all supplies such as fly spray, vetrolin, linament, poultice, shampoo, show sheen… the list is endless.

Equipment fee

Varies based upon shipping costs. Ithilien brings a huge amount of equipment and supplies to shows for general use by the clients and their horses. In addition to the expense of purchasing, maintaining, and replacing these items as the wear, there is a tremendous cost involved in moving this equipment to and from each show. This charge reflects the cost to Ithilien of transporting, maintaining and setting up this equipment.

Golf cart

Ithilien owns a golf cart to facilitate the efficient running of each show day. Ithilien bills out the cost of this golf cart for the duration of each show at $60/day. This cost is divided among the number of showing client horses. If you are interested in having readily available transportation for yourself personally at the show grounds, we recommend that you rent a golf cart privately. The Ithilien golf cart’s primary function is for the bustling of staff and equipment around the horse show. It is not for teenagers to go joyriding with their friends!
